Fern watercolour painting workshop – Fridays November 15 and 22
The Cranbourne Friends Botanical Illustrators have arranged for well-known watercolour artist, David Reynolds, to present another 2-day watercolour workshop in November. Earlier this year he presented a course at Cranbourne on painting the Spotted pardolate. David specialises in Australian flora and fauna, exotic plants and wildlife. He is also an experienced tutor, currently teaching at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and Nature in Art, Park Orchards. He has exhibited widely over many years and won several awards – most recently in the Plantae of the UK Society of Botanical Artists. More at www.davidreynoldsart.com.au

Students will learn in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere with plenty of discussion about the watercolour techniques used. Practical demonstrations of each technique will be given allowing students to progress to a finished watercolour painting.
