The Neutrog Story by Helen Lovel, Sunday Feb 22nd 2026
Neutrog is an Australian company well-known for producing high-quality, innovative fertilisers tailored to meet the needs of gardeners, farmers and horticulturalists, both here and overseas.

Come and join us on Sunday, February 22nd 2026 at 2pm in the Auditorium, for a session where Helen Lovel, Neutrog’s Marketing Manager, will tell us about this significant supporter of the Friends – and the Cranbourne Gardens.
Helen has worked in many areas of horticulture since 1985 and has been involved with Neutrog in a range of roles for over 15 years. She’s passionate about the quality of the products that Neutrog make at their complex in South Australia, where research scientists work to develop and expand a huge range of agricultural and horticultural biologically-activated products for use by farmers, horticulturalists, professional gardeners – and of course, native plant enthusiasts like the Cranbourne Friends.
Many members already receive substantial discounts on a range of Neutrog products, but if you would like to hear much more, about the story of Neutrog and how it can enrich your own patch, do come and listen to this fascinating talk.
Helen is a passionate gardener herself and has a stunning garden on the farm where the grass that fattens their cattle is also fed by Neutrog products. It will be a relaxed, informative and enjoyable afternoon, with time for questions. Helen is also bringing gifts – of Seamungus, the superb soil and plant conditioner – for all attendees. Perfectly in time for Autumn planting!
