Friends In The Gardens (FIGS)

Friends in the Gardens (FIGS)

Friends in the Gardens (FIGS) help the Horticulture staff in the Australian Garden on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday morning of each month, from 9.15 am at the Visitor Centre until 12.30 pm when we adjourn to the café for lunch and a chat.

The Horticulture staff are never short of projects for us – weeding, planting, clearing hedge-prunings, raking or sweeping paths or spreading mulch.  Staff are always helpful, friendly and appreciative.

We have new tools.  We will welcome YOU into our friendly group.  Here we are in action in the Gondwana Garden at the Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne.

Are you interested in joining us?

  • Note: To be a member of FIGS (Friends in the Garden) you need to join the Friends, and conform to Child safety regulations. You can come along and try FIGS out, before you decide to join.
