Botanical Weaving group established

A new special interest group for people interested in botanical weaving has been established at the Cranbourne Gardens.

The new weaving activities have attracted people who share an interest in weaving or would like to maintain their own personal practice, along with some new people who just want to try their hand at the craft and develop some basic skills. Together the group has been exploring ideas, inspiration, resources and techniques.

The group meets on the fourth Sunday of the month, at the Elliot Centre which is in the Cranbourne Gardens.

There are two small groups, one meeting in the morning and the other in the afternoon. The cost for the informal meetings is a $5 donation for morning or afternoon tea.  All skill levels are welcome, including beginners.
